“You won’t know if you like it or not unless you try it!!”

For our last Japanese lessons of 2021, all students tried some Japanese snacks(treats) that the kids in Japan love and green tea.

They enjoyed rice crackers, chocolate sticks (Pocky), they tried “Konpeitou” (grape flavour sugar-balls). Some put their brave faces on and tasted green-tea in origami paper-cups for the first time and found that they like it!!

I really liked today’s food tasting lesson. The Pocky was delicious, they spiky balls were sugary and sweet and I loved the green tea and rice crackers- Year4  Ava Hewitt
